Discover the surroundings of Sant Salvador

Environment - Camping Sant Salvador

The location of the campsite is ideal for enjoying a complete vacation, since the environment is privileged. We are close to cities with a lot of history such as Tarragona, but also less than an hour's drive from cosmopolitan Barcelona.

We are also surrounded by splendid natural landscapes, with the Mediterranean Sea and the beach at the foot of the campsite. And without a doubt, for the most daring, we are also 30 minutes from Port Aventura World, and 20 minutes from Aqualeon

Costa Daurada, Sun and Beach

The beach is directly accessible from the campsite since we are on the seafront. It is one of the main attractions for visitors. The beach, about three kilometers long, is rectilinear and consists of fine white sand.

To the tranquility, the transparency of the water and the good temperature of the sea, we must add the high percentage of iodine contained in the waters of this corner of the Costa Daurada, which makes them especially healthy.

Port Aventura, the most visited leisure park in Spain!

Port Aventura is a leisure resort, located in the Tarragona municipalities of Vilaseca and Salou, just half an hour's drive from the campsite. It is the most visited theme park in Spain and the sixth in Europe.

It currently consists of two theme parks (PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land) and a water park (PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park). This is the ideal destination for the most daring.

Tarragona, Roman city

It is one of the cities in the world (outside of Italy) where you can best appreciate the grandeur of what Roman civilization was. Its monuments and buildings are considered to be among the best preserved in the world.

For a reason, Emperor Augustus made Tarragona his home; for a reason today it is a World Heritage City.

Pau Casals house - museum

The Pau Casals Museum is located in the summer house that Pablo Casals decided to build on the beach of Sant Salvador, in the municipality of Vendrell. Your visit will allow you to discover the life and human legacy of one of the most important musicians of the 20th century and at the same time enjoy a historic space with views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Located less than an hour from Barcelona and only twenty minutes from Tarragona, it has a magnificent neoclassical garden attached to the main building and with shop and restaurant services. The Museum offers a stable program of activities and exhibitions aimed at all audiences throughout the year.

Aqualeon, with the family

Aqualeon is an amusement and leisure park to enjoy with the whole family, as it has a water park and safari. Located in Tarragona, very close to El Vendrell, Aqualeon is a park where you can enjoy both water attractions and unforgettable experiences seeing all kinds of carnivorous animals in semi-freedom such as lions, Bengal tigers, bears and even jaguars that we can see from a safari-type bus tour.

Charming towns

At the touch of the campsite we find the towns of Calafell, Coma-ruga and El Vendrell and all their tourist offer to meet any demand.

Whether it's a walk or bike ride along the promenade between Coma-ruga and Sant Salvador, a visit to the pirate ship with a beach slide, a visit to the Vendrell Karting for motor enthusiasts, or the endless kilometers of beach between these three municipalities, fun is guaranteed.

And for culture lovers, the Pau Casals museum is located on the same promenade in Sant Salvador, in the same house where the musician lived before his exile.

Barcelona, cosmopolitan city

A few kilometers from Sant Salvador is Barcelona, a cosmopolitan city open to the Mediterranean with a lot of history and where you will find a rich historical and cultural heritage. Looking for art, leisure, sports, sea, rich cuisine... Barcelona is your place.

From a visit to the Sagrada Familia, the modernist temple par excellence designed by Antoni Gaudí, to the Camp Nou, the FC Barcelona coliseum, Barcelona awaits you less than an hour's drive from the campsite.
